Do I have a chance at MIT, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Caltech, or John Hopkins?

Question by Space Shuttle: Do I have a chance at MIT, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Caltech, or John Hopkins?

I know this is a pretty hackneyed question, but I would really appreciate some input.

I am currently a junior in high school. Here are my stats:

Sat 1 – 2200 (740 W, 720M, 740 CR): THis was with no preparation. I took this test sophomore year, so I expect it will be over a 2300 when I take it again.

Class Rank: 1/478

Courseload: 16 AP’s by the end of highschool, including Ap Physics B, AP Statistics, AP Calc AB and BC, etc.

unweighted GPA: 4.0
Weighted: 4.8 on a 5.0 scale

I haven’t taken any Sat II’s yet, but I Plan on taking Mnath 11 and Physics.

Extracirriculars:
I am the president of key Club – I will probably have about 500 hrs of community service by end of Junior year.

I am the Captain of Academic Team- I was also the first Freshman in the history of my county to make the All start state competitive academic team

I am the president of Mu Alpha Theta ( Math team)

I do independent scientific research at the University Of Florida.

I am also the founder of a club that promotes poverty awareness and raises money for non-profit Hospitality houses.

Competitions:
NO Big Ones yet, just county wide math competitions (Which I win every year) and state wide academic competitions.

I plan on entering the Science Fair this year, and the Siemens competition in my Senior year (Cross my fingers for winning)

Teacher Recs and Essays:

I am a skilled writer, and I have two teachers in mind who I have known since the beginiing of high school. One of them is my Academic team coach and he will be my Ap government teacher. his should be really good. The other has been my math teacher asince PreCal and he is the Mu alpha theta advisor. His should be good , too.

Significant challenges:

I come from a home with <30,000 dollars annual income. My mother is a single parent, and she struggles with alcoholism and mental illness. 'I don't know if admissions officers will consider the barriers taht I have had to overcome to accomplish what I have accomplished, but I am hoping that they will.
